Welcome to our page.
Scouting is about giving children fantastic opportunities to do lots of activities and things that people who are not in Scouts don’t get to do. It’s about having fun and making life long friends.
If you think Scouting’s just about knots, woggles and big shorts, then be prepared to be surprised. its how Richard Branson, Barack Obama and David Beckham got their start in life and you can benefit too.
Every year the Scouting Association helps 400,000 young people in the UK enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors, interact with other, gain confidence and have the oppurtunity to reach their full potential.
And its not just young people who can get in on the action. Working alongside our youth members are thousands of adult volunteers, with a huge variety of roles and opportunities available.
If this sounds like something you would like to do then come and visit your local group at Burscough Methodist Church Hall on Orrell Lane, Burscough. If you want more information don’t hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
